The NVIDIA Video Search and Summarization (VSS) Blueprint is a reference architecture designed to help developers build GPU-accelerated visual agents and AI-driven video analytics applications. This blueprint integrates accelerated vision microservices, vision-language models (VLM), and large language models (LLM), and can be deployed within existing systems either as standalone microservices or as part of larger-scale visual agents. VSS is structured around three processing and analysis domains: real-time video intelligence, downstream analysis, and agent-based and offline processing. With these components, users can achieve functionalities such as video retrieval, question answering, and summary generation. The blueprint is suitable for scenarios requiring efficient handling of large volumes of video data, such as smart space monitoring and warehouse automation.
