FAQ
Regular scaling just stretches pixels, making images blurrier. This tool uses the Real-ESRGAN deep learning model to reconstruct details, resulting in sharper edges and clearer textures with almost no visible enlargement artifacts.
When enabled, it uses the GFPGAN model to enhance faces in the image, especially effective for blurry, old, or low-resolution photos, making facial features clearer and more natural. Processing time will be slightly longer.
Select "Photo / Real-life" for real-world images like portraits, landscapes, and products; choose "Anime / Illustration" for 2D art, sketches, line drawings, or posters—each model delivers optimal results for its respective content type.
Yes, images are uploaded to our self-hosted GPU servers for processing (the model cannot run locally in your browser). Images are used only for this session and are deleted immediately after processing—never shared or stored publicly.
Each image must be under 30MB. For very high-resolution images, they are automatically scaled down proportionally to a manageable size before upscaling to ensure speed and stability.
