Will quality be lost?
Images are downsampled, but text (vector-based) remains unaffected. Higher compression reduces quality further but achieves the smallest file size—choose based on your needs.
Why can't some PDFs be compressed?
If a PDF contains mostly text with few images, or has already been compressed, there's limited room for further reduction—minimal size change is normal.
Is my file safe?
