FAQ

Will my PDF be uploaded?

No. Table parsing and Excel generation happen entirely in your browser—your file is never sent to any server and can be verified in your browser's network panel.

Why are some tables restored inaccurately?

PDFs don't store table structure; this tool infers rows and columns based on text coordinates—a heuristic approach. Well-structured, aligned tables work best; merged cells, no borders, or complex layouts may require manual adjustments in Excel.

Can I convert scanned/image-based PDFs?

Not directly. Scanned PDFs lack extractable text coordinates—first use "OCR" to recognize text from images.

One worksheet per page or merged?

By default, each page creates one worksheet for easy page-by-page review. You can also check "Merge into one worksheet" to combine all pages with blank rows between them.
